I adore books. I'm a chronic book worm and created this sculpture as an ode to all of us book worms of the world.  As cheesy as it sounds I want to give these books a chance to tell another story.

The books I use are all salvaged from the recycling.  Most of them are between 10 and 30 years old and just don't have any resale value. One quickly sees what the most popular books are by how many you get of some titles.

Each book page is folded individually and this creates interesting shapes and patterns. I then cut the books into different sizes and glue them onto a piece of rigid board. This has a hook on the back for hanging the piece on the wall. Each one is signed.

Size:  50cm x 45cm from the widest points & 5cm deep

I send the art piece via a registered courier service from South Africa to anywhere in the world. The box has a global tracking number. This takes between 5 to 7 working days, though I have experienced waits of up to 21 days when the artwork is held up in customs.  Please note, your country may apply import duties at the discretion of the customs official on arrival.  This is for your account.
